Monday Afternoon

Just got a call from mom.  She is at Chancellor, and dad won't have anything to do with her, or anyone else.  Won't talk, sitting on his bed.   Pointed at the door for mom to leave.  She is sitting out in the hall in the chair.   Guess this morning, when he slugged the nurse, it was in her stomach.  Ugh.
Mom said he has never acted like this before - both Eric and I reminded her he was like this the morning she called Eric over.   It's not necessarily that he is there, it's the disease.  Although, I am sure he is agitated.  He's had a lot of visitors over the weekend, and maybe it was too soon.  The best thing to do is let him be alone.   Something to keep in mind:  We've seen him purposefully act out to get his way, like a child.    He may be doing this thinking he will get to leave.   Or, he is just expressing his frustration the only way he can.  Either way, it's frustrating, but there is nothing we can do.  Mom will keep in touch.
