So, dad had a good night last night. No Rocky moves, and he was up at 6:00 today. In a great mood
Mom went to see him briefly this morning, and he was so happy to see her. Kissed her on the forehead and told her he was glad to see her. He also asked her when he was going home. This breaks her heart, but she did tell him he needed to stay there awhile longer. She said he was happy, didn't balk when she told him she needed to leave. They were starting to set lunch out. I will stop by for a bit this evening, and take him a treat. We will see how he is then.

Yesterday, was a combo of everything. I believe dad was a little overwhelmed by all that went on over the weekend. I also found out this morning, that when mom got there yesterday afternoon, she woke him up. This is not a good thing - never turns out well. He is cranky and disoriented when this happens. On top of just the disease, it was not a good day for him. After he ate dinner last night, though, he had a good night.
I intend on keeping my visit brief with him tonight. Mom was really emotional after she left him today, feels badly that he keeps asking her when he is going home. Told her the good news, is that he was happy today. This may change in a heartbeat, but we do need to look at the positive. I will go visit dad, then Shirl and I are going out for a salad. Will blog later tonight or in the morning.
