HaPpY HaPpY HaPpY
Mom just called from Chancellors and she was so happy I couldn't believe it!! Dad had a good night, (so did mom) he had breakfast and was now shaving. She was so upbeat and happy. Probably cuz she got some sleep and made it through her first alone night and because Dad is adjusting and seems ok. I will take it!!!!!

Just talked to mom. She was leaving Chancellor, and as Ann said, she was so happy. She sat with dad in the big room, while he drank some juice. Said he seems content, and really likes the food. (Uh, anyone surprised at this?) She said he looks good. After awhile, they walked back to the room, and he was ready for a nap. All of Rick's stuff is out, and they will be doing a good cleaning tomorrow. We will move in the rest of dad's stuff on Saturday. It seems dad is settling in, which makes mom be more settled. I am sure we will still have "bad" days, but happy to hear things are calming down.
ReplyDeleteThat is very good news...we need to get him a table with a small lamp like Rick had in there...handy to set up activities on and sit at. That was his biggest concern when he thought they were taking his stuff was the table being gone...that is where he kept pointing to and complaining...just another random thought.
ReplyDeleteAlready on my list, Traaaant. That will be good spot for him to work on his cube and tinker toys - when I find them. With the chest, sofa, and TV, pop's room is gonna be jammed packed.
